This semester, our Year 8 students are learning and developing the technique of tumbling in Dance. Tumbling is a mixed dance form of breaking and contemporary dance which focuses on improving students strength, coordination and body alignment. Our dancers are enjoying the thrill of going over the floor in a friendly and safe learning environment.
Tumbling is a great platform to give our students a direction into contemporary dance. Our aim is encourage our Aveley students onto tertiary institutions like the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and other dance schools around Australia.
