Year 11 Aveley Secondary College students enrolled in Nationally recognised VET courses took part in 4 Regional WorldSkills Competition at the school.
The program is a series of work-simulated projects based on industry standard frameworks designed and administered by industry professionals. The WorldSkills Competitions are a one-day event, designed to test students’ skills and knowledge against other VET students.
Students were assessed by industry expert judges – the gold, silver & bronze medals will be awarded at a breakfast presentation at Crown, where the gold medallists will have the opportunity to fly to Brisbane next year to represent WA and compete against other VETiS winners from all over the country.
