This term the Year 10s have been using their woodwork skills to make a Bar Stool by incorporating different skills and techniques including Mortice and Tenon joints resulting in some outstanding results.
“I wanted to bring back to the curriculum the skills and techniques people seem to be forgetting now that we have machines that do it all. We have some really promising students here at Aveley SC, with a great future ahead of them” said Mr Imrie.
