Students are invited to attend a day at Aveley SC where will provide students with an opportunity to experience a range of curriculum areas structured into a sample timetable. Students will need to wear their current primary school uniform and it is recommended that they bring a hat, water bottle and their pencil cases in a bag. Students will need to have a prepacked lunch and snacks with them for the day. They will have a recess and lunch break. Please note, they will be unable to access the café for lunch, drinks or snack purchases and siblings will not be able to provide them with these (as they are on a different time schedule for the day).
Students can enter the College from Holdsworth Avenue, Maffina Parade or from Cashman Avenue where they will be greeted by our Student Leaders and escorted to the Sports Hall for the 08.40am start. Bike racks are available at the Cashman Avenue entry and at the Holdsworth Avenue entry. Your child will be released at the end of the day at 2.30pm from these exits. Parents will need to make transport arrangements to and from the College. There are several car parks and road side parking around the College where you can drop off or arrange to meet your child at the end of the day.
