The Sports Elite Program recently celebrated the year’s achievements with the Annual Awards night. With over 180 students and parents attending it was a great moment to recognise the students who have represented teams outside the school at district, state and national level, and the top student in the program in each year group. The theme this year was “better people make better athletes”. Our guest speaker, Tom Wickham (Olympic Gold Medallist with the Kookaburras) spoke about the importance of being a good team player and was an inspiration to the SEP students.
