Over the weekend our students competed in the Robotics Playoffs 2021 and finished ranked in second place. The second place ranking was a great achievement, given the students out performed university student teams and experienced high schools! In the lead up to this tournament our students worked tirelessly during their lunch breaks, before and after school for four weeks.
It didn’t end there with ASC being awarded the Engineering Excellence award, which is presented to the team who has shown the most consistent display across all facets of the competition of automation, robot design and general game play.
The robot is currently on display in our front office. Well done Mr Richardson and Mr Pilapil for providing our students with this fantastic opportunity.
