Introducing Tanya Carcione who will be joining our Arts team. Tanya comes with a wealth of experience, which will be a great addition for our Visual Arts classes. We are excited to have her join us.
Hi, my name is Tanya Carcione and I have the pleasure of joining the Arts team at Aveley Secondary College in 2023.
Before joining Aveley, I taught Year 7-12 ATAR Visual Arts at a small private school in Perth. As an educator, I am interested in diversity and inclusivity in the Arts as I believe that any student can find creativity and success in one of the many disciplines within the Arts. This has led me to pursue postgraduate studies researching the benefits of the Visual Arts in supporting students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
I look forward to meeting the rest of the Aveley community in the year to come!
