Introducing Ray Fitzpatrick who will be joining our Mathematics department next year. Ray is an experienced teacher with a wide range of teaching experience in Australia and abroad which is sure to inspire our students.
Hi, I’m Ray Fitzpatrick and I will be teaching Mathematics in 2023 at Aveley Secondary College. I’m excited and looking forward to working with you all to get the best out of this subject! I have been teaching Mathematics at Merredin College in the Wheatbelt region for two years and previously taught Chemistry in China, an amazing experience learning the deep history of both regions. I was a team member of HIsmelt, an engineering company that developed a new technology, Iron Smelter, for the iron manufacturing sector. I love the ocean and endurance sports, with freediving and surfing as my favourites, closely followed by triathlon and marathon racing.
