Our school is part of a national project about students with disability and or learning difficulties, called the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). We have been asked to provide data about the number and types of learning needs of students at our school. As part of the collected data, individual students and schools are not identified.
The project aims to collect information about differing student needs. It also looks at the levels of intervention in place such as the programs and resources the school has utilised so that students can overcome barriers, participate and learn. We believe it is important to contribute to this project because it will help inform Government and the Education Department about level of resources needed in schools.
