Our Year 9 Academic Extension Program and HASS extension students enjoyed a day at Kings Park Education Centre, enhancing their geographical skills.
In the ‘Senior Orienteering’ session, students learned map reading and navigation, discovering unique plants along the way.
During the ‘Bushland Carers’ session, they conducted fieldwork for seed conservation programs and designed tests to study germination barriers.
This hands-on experience underscored the importance of the south west of WA as an international biodiversity hotspot.
