Year 7 Indonesian students were treated to an intercultural dance experience, developing their understanding of Indonesia and how cultures express their art and histories through various types of dancing.
Suara Indonesia taught a workshop including various body percussion dances where students learnt how to dance in unison, alternating patterns and even groups of three. The most exciting part of the lesson was when the students were able to try on the special pants that dancers use to drum using only their clothing.
