FIRST Lego League took over Aveley on Wednesday 15 October with 23 teams all vying for places at the state final. The competitive program challenged teams to design, build, and program Lego robots and prepare a presentation to solve real-world problems, enabling them to become the innovators and problem-solvers of tomorrow. Aveley’s top-rated team finished third for the robot score but unfortunately were unable to make it through to the state final with the Creative Chameleons from St. Stephen’s emerging victorious, showcasing their exceptional skills in teamwork, design, creativity, research, and problem-solving.
A massive congratulations to all students who took part and made the day a successful event, and thank you to our student and staff volunteers for your help on the day.
