A group of Year 10 students, who expressed an interest in exploring careers in the construction industry, were able to take part in a 3-day Bricklaying & Carpentry Try-a-Trade program through Skill Hire in Forrestfield last term.
The program offered students an insight into the construction industry and provided an opportunity for participants to try their hand at two trades.
Students learnt from an experienced trainer, allowing them to see what life on a work site was actually like.
