Year 10 students in our Food Science course worked with gelatin to create “Boba Pearls”. The pearls were created by combining fruit juice and gelatin, and using a squeezy bottle to set pearl shapes in oil. The recipe was a twist on typical Bubble Tea that is becoming increasingly popular in our culture.
